Clarinet
Bespoke key work can be added where required and holes can be covered. Or Use a one-handed instrument with a support stand. This does require use of 4 fingers and a thumb.

Electric Guitar / Bass Guitar
Strings are plucked with digit(s) on one hand and the note(s) selected with the other. A Chapman Stick or Artiphon Instrument 1 can be played with just one digit.

French Horn
French horns can be supported on the floor on a moveable support that takes the weight of the instrument. The support can be applied to any regular or right-handed instrument through the use of cable ties.

Oboe
Specific modifications can be made to key work to allow individuals to reach all keys comfortably. Bespoke work can be relatively expensive, but addressing an issue with a specific key or keys can be much cheaper than purchasing a whole new instrument. Bassoon

Recorder
For a standard recorder you need 7 fingers and a thumb. Bespoke keys can be added to aid reach or you can use a one-handed recorder which requires 4 digits.

Trombone
The instrument needs to be supported and a slide operated by a pinch grip. A floor stand can take the weight of the instrument and the slide is operated by either hand.

Trumpet / Cornet
The instrument needs to be supported and three valves operated. A floor stand can take the weight of the instrument and valves operated with either hand or both hands.

Ukulele
Strings are plucked with digit(s) on one hand and the note(s) selected with the other. Strumming can be undertaken with one digit as a minimum. Chords need one digit per note in the chord. A Strum Buddy allows a ukulele to be played with one hand or an Artiphon Instrument 1 can be used to play chords in ‘Smart Strum’ mode with one digit on each side.
