Baritone / Tenor Horn / Euphonium
The right wrist is used in line with the hand/arm to operate valves. The mouthpiece can be moved to the left-hand side and floor stands are available.
Clarinet
The right wrist is used in line with the hand/arm. The clarinet can be supported with a Claritie. Or
Use a left-hand only instrument with support.
Electric Guitar / Bass Guitar
Place an instrument in a position where the right-hand can reach the strings to select the notes. Or Use a Chapman Stick/Artiphon Instrument 1 one-handed.
Flute
The right wrist is used in line with the hand/arm. Vertical head joints bring the flute into a vertical position Or use a left-hand only flute.
Recorder
In standard play the right wrist is used in line with the hand/arm. If this isn’t possible use a left-hand only instrument.
Trombone
The right wrist moves to operate the slide in standard play but can be turned over so the slide is operated with the left. Floor stands are available.
Trumpet / Cornet
The right wrist is used in line with the hand/arm to support the instrument. Floor stands are available to support the instrument.
Ukulele
Strings are plucked with digit(s) on one hand and the note(s) selected with the other. A Strum Buddy allows a ukulele to be played with one hand or an Artiphon Instrument 1 can be used in ‘Tap’ mode so that the finger that selects the pitch of the note also triggers the sound.
