Floor Stand

tuba floor stand

The instrument can be placed on a floor stand which allows it to be played without using a second hand to support it.

Left-Handed Playing

euphonium

If the left-hand is required to operate the valves then the lead pipe can be moved around the other side of the instrument. This results in a permanent change to the instrument.

Fourth valve extension

A close up of the silver tubing of a tuba. There is a black button pressing against the fourth valve, attached to a lever that ends near the other three valves.

When playing a tuba with a fourth valve, this extension enables the little finger to play the fourth valve so that all four valves can be played with the same hand. Alternatively, use a model with four valves in a line.
